# Guideline: Service Proposal

Service proposals created by both council and org members are done in the same way.

**Service Proposal Submission Guidelines.**

When submitting a service proposal, consider the following steps to ensure clarity, impact, and relevance to the organization:

#### 1. Craft a Clear and Descriptive Title

* **Be Specific**: Clearly define the nature of the proposed service.
* **Highlight the Benefit**: If applicable, emphasize the main benefit or outcome of the service.

#### 2. Write a Concise and Comprehensive Proposal Description

* **Start with the Core Idea**: Begin with a brief overview of the proposed service and why it's valuable for the organization.
* **Explain the Impact**: Outline how this service will improve operations, introduce new tools, or fill an organizational gap.
* **Provide Key Details**: Without going into unnecessary length, include essential information such as the tools, platforms, or third-party services involved and how they will be implemented.
* **Mention Collaboration**: If relevant, note any collaborations with external teams or members that will contribute to the success of the service.

#### 3. End with a Clear Value Proposition

* **Summarize the Service’s Benefit**: Conclude by reiterating the value this service brings to the organization, emphasizing how it enhances efficiency, addresses a challenge, or streamlines operations.
